At a young age I worked the phones and packed carryout orders at my family's restaurant. I learned about communication, efficiency, and calmness under pressure here.

In high school, I got fired from my second job. I (allegedly) no-showed for a shift while I was stage managing my school musical. That was when I realized I am wired to support the arts and run a set.

In college, I ran the pro-shop and taught youth tennis lessons at the local park. I'd assure the old vets their game was in top form, and encourage nervous young newcomers to just enjoy the sport. Here I discovered the importance to be attentive, people-first, and have fun.

And since leaving the midwest and coming to Los Angeles, the only job I've had has been production. This is the craft where everything I've learned comes together. And with twenty+ years of experience, I remain committed to improving each project from the last.

 

My hope is that productions I lead can be a rising tide for the creative, the crew, and the companies involved. Because a kind, calm, and compassionate production will yield the greatest rewards.

Outside of my home base in Los Angeles, I've worked across many markets nationally and internationally, including extended stints in Salt Lake City, Utah.
